The latest Naruto game is by far the best single-player Naruto title yet, and a surprisingly good action platformer with a fun but simple fighting game thrown in.

Being a massive fan of the series i thought i just had to add this to my collection. I thought i would be able to explore the island, and meet all the characters, and maybe fend of some of ‘the others’ in a no holds barred gunfight. What i got was very limited areas of the island to explore, all bounded by fallen trees, plane debris and rocks, a load of poor voice talent destroying the characters i had come to know and a load of others shooting at me that i can’t shoot back at because most of the time i don’t have a gun.
The graphics do occassionally look quite good but they are not a patch on Uncharted and the limited ways in which the main character interacts with his surroundings is very poor even trousers hanging on a washing line are too hard to walk through. There is no attempt to introduce any real physics to the environments apart from the occassional branch on a tree. Also your character can’t bend over, jump, climb, roll or even get above a jog in most scenes. OK there are some bits where he can suddenly jump and roll but this only goes to break the already dodgy continuity.
The game also has to continually reload, you walk into the jungle it has to reload, you walk through a door it has to reload. You just seem to be waiting around for it to load more than you are actually playing it.
I also agree with some of the other reviewers regarding the ‘flashback’ scenes which should have been quite interesting and in keeping with the series. However they are incredibly frustrating as if you don’t get the angle exactly right when taking a picture with the camera, or if it’s slightly out of focus, you have to try again and you can be there for some time.
The only good thing that i can say about this game is the way that it is structured into episodes (although there are only 7 of them!) and at the beginning you get the “previously on Lost” voice with a quick summary of what you have done so far. Having said that though this will only appeal to die hard fans and will only go further to frustrate those who have not really seen the series.
It is obvious that this game has been thrown together in a hurry to fleece poor punters like me so if i were you i would not waste my money or time with this game. Get Uncharted instead it is, great fun, amazingly animated, thoroughly playable and has a good storyline that will keep you interested. You also get to run around in the jungle a lot.

I first became aware of this game through one of the ‘extras’ on the series 3 DVD box set. It was hyped up a great deal by both the game designers and the TV executives. I am a big fan of the series, so unusually, ordered this game from Amazon before checking out some reviews.
I could hardly be more disappointed with this game. The game play is very linear and restrictive. As mentioned in other reviews, it can be very frustrating and annoying. An enormous oportunity has been missed with this game, and it appears that it is just another one of those “let’s cash in on the success of the series” type games.
No-one connected with the game or the series can have been in any doubt that this is a thoroughly awful game, and a total waste of money. It is a shame that ‘Lost’ the TV series will be associated with this rubbish.
Avoid buying this poor excuse for a game.

I am a massive lost fan, i love everything about it and when I heard of this game coming out i was so excited, I thought it was going to be amazing. I was wrong.
This part has some great parts, some OK parts and some terrible parts. The first thing that hit me when i started on the game were the graphics. these were amazing, best PS3 graphics I have seen so far It was all great until i met the other survivors. I had heard that the castaways would be voiced by impersonators but they are just terrible, especially charlie i could have done a better job myself. The story line is OK really did like the end, but i couldn’t believe that was. the game was so short that i may as well have rented it and there is nothing left to do once its over. I also loved the episode format and the fact that my character had flashbacks (even if they were tedious and not very good nor did they end). Hope they put a lot more thought and voicing talent into the sequel.
As a massive lost fan all I can say is rent or borrow it. you will complete it no matter what your gaming skill level. Definately worth playin but not worth paying anything over £10 for.

I love lost even though I only ‘discovered’ it a few months ago and watched the first 2 series in a week or so! This game appears great so far – sound is great as are the graphics. I wonder how much fun it will be however for those who dont really like the programme?

graphics are amazing and gameplay is great, but warning it is very short!! you can complete it in about 5-7 hours!! it certainly adds to the fun of watching the show, but even if you are not a fan of the show i think its still worth playing. i would suggest renting the game rather than buying it as you can complete it in one day.
