Avoid this product. It has just failed after one year of use. It is difficult to place the chargers on the unit so in the end they eventually got distorted and the chargers stopped making a good contact and failed to charge.

I like the design, but it only works with 2 out of 4 controllers. Stay away from this product.

Supplied with it’s own mini-USB cable, it provides a home for 2 controllers and recharges them while they’re not in use (provided it’s plugged into something with power). the controllers sit “front-down” and attach to mini-USB sockets in the cradle. There’s a plastic light that shows the charging status of each controller and a natty blue LED in the base for effect (but you can switch it off if you want by pressing the button on the front of the unit).

It’s small, well made and does exactly what you’re looking for without any fuss. If I’ve any gripe, it’s that finding the USB port to dock onto can be something of a hit & miss affair because the orientation of the controller means you cant see what you’re doing, but with practice it soon becomes second nature.

If you’re fed up with the mess of USB cables trailing from the front of your PS3 then you could do a lot worse than this nifty little docking station!

Its great product, I use it through USB cable plugged in to the PS3 Slim. It keeps the tv shlf neat and tidy , no messy cables around and the blue light effect is nice as well. Recommended to all. It charges both of the controllers, whilst I am playing.

recieved my charging dock it works fine just a bit fiddly to slot the controllers in. What i would like to know is where is the blue light around the base that a few reviewers have mentioned, mine definatley aint got one, just thought i would mention it as i thought it would be a nice touch instead of just looking like a boring charger
