@TehCCL They also let you use a Wiimote charge station if you’re foolish enough to actually purchase one of those sacks of shit.
Yes, a shovelware peripheral. Haven’t seen one of those since the Genesis Link cable.
The USB Ports in the back of the Wii are where you plug in the “WiiSpeak” peripheral.
Also, USB Keyboards are supported by the Wii. You can use it on the Wii Shop Channel and Internet Channel. The only game I know of off the top of my head that supports both USB Keyboard and WiiSpeak is “Animal Crossing: City Folk”.
ofcourese! i was having so much fun when i was playing my wii and the ps3 . . . but my wii ggot briked and my ps3 got stolen (some 1 came to my house and stole it without even being noticed) T_T
I see. I do agree with the controls on red steel but hopefully red steel2 will be better. As far as I have seen, they have better looking graphics and new ideas with the combat and hopefully better controls. Anyway, just that you know, I respect your opinion.
of those I’ve played, mario kart wii was decent although the online play is flawed, red steel has very very awkward controls, punch out was cool but not my kind of game really, MP3 looks good too but ive never played it, paper mario was cool
There’s more:Fire emblem: raidant dawn
wario land shake it,Metriod prime 3 corruption,mario kart wii,Morusa: the demon blade,zak and wiki,wii sport resort,no more heroes,klonoa,exticetruck. rabbids go home,dead space
resident evil the darkside chronicles
super paper mario,The condiuct,red steel,okami,punch out,de blob
Meh, I am fine with my Wii, I don’t like shooters, racing games, or god forbid those really bad sports games >_> It fills in that void, I also have a DS, and I enjoy them both. Especially after you get the Homebrew channel for the Wii (AKA hacking the shit out of it without a modchip) You can customize the Wii like mad! There are even 3rd party apps for it as well. I guess it would be like Jailbreaking a Wii. Once I “Jailbroke” it, then it was like. . . OMFG YES.
i love the wii, and i fully agree with your points. i hae the SD card since i have over 25 games and a few downloaded games and i have to put half my games on it. the games are still great (except 90% of the other games). I’m not holding it up as #1 as i feel it still hasn’t shown fully what it can do.
I find the Wii friend codes just as annoying like the product code you have to type into a PC if you want to install and play a PC game. (Mostly newer PC games)
I think that on the next console nintendo releases, they should give an option whether or not you want to use a friend code. If you don’t then it should be a username, like a gamertag on xbox or PS3. Friend codes take up too much time to enter them all. They mainly do it so kids are safe from pedophiles and shit.
The latest Naruto game is by far the best single-player Naruto title yet, and a surprisingly good action platformer with a fun but simple fighting game thrown in.
Assassins Creed fumbles in a few departments, but the overall concept is so captivating that those with imagination will likely enjoy the heck out of it anyways.

and what about when the new console comes out, are people supposed to re-buy all the games again?
January 29th, 2010 at 11:25 pm
the only games worth playing are FIRST PARTY titles. That says alot. Nintendo needs to get their act together next gen.
January 29th, 2010 at 11:33 pm
Heck it fills my needs and then some.

@GameShowFan94, Nintendo has been #2 (or 3) since the days of the N64. This is coming from a (former) Nintendo zealot.
